ESPN is taking match analysis to a whole new level. While us Yanks are used to the overuse of animation and gimmicks to capture our short attention span (see: Fox’s NFL robot mascot), this is an idea that I can actually support. While the graphics of the players running may be a bit in the 1994 Nintendo era, this will only get better with time and funding.
Well done ESPN. One question, if you fling Michael Owen like you did Juan Mata, is there a possibility of him being injured?
